This September, I'm excited to announce that I'll be showing again at the art extravaganza that is 'Art in The Park'.
Growing up as an avid cricket lover, Eden Park is a wonderful venue I never imagined exhibiting at!
During the opening night and subsequent show days, over 100 artists come together to showcase our latest works. I'm thrilled with the new works I've created specifically for this show! These are drawn largely from my 'Still Life Reboot' series, in which I've stepped into the world of floral still life. My wish is that others will connect with my contemporary take on a classical genre!
Notably, there's a personal connection with my father, John Novak (who passed away in 2022), being a lover of gardening, plant life and, in particular, roses. Life is beautiful, and impermanence is part of what makes it so special.
In bringing together threads from several of my previous series, I've created urban art 'scenes' which convey a multitude of messages for each person to discover.
